Title: RS-APS Seminar
Description: We present a demonstration of the plasma lensing effect measured with an all-optical two-stage setup at the JETI laser system in Jena, Germany: In the first stage electrons are accelerated via laser wake field acceleration. This electron bunch was then focused by a second stage without any external fields applied. To our knowledge, this is the first experiment showing plasma lensing with LWFA accelerated electrons and a passive focusing stage, i.e. where the bunch self-focuses inside the focusing plasma stage.
